KK ULTRA bits have a shortened centrepiece that is tilted forwards by 45°. This anatomical adaptation significantly optimises the effect compared to conventional double jointed bits. When the reins are tightened, the centrepiece of the KK ULTRA bits lies snugly on the tongue without squeezing and without exerting pressure on the palate and bars.
When used correctly, this promotes the horse's trust in the rider's hand, which is why these bits are used successfully worldwide in all disciplines and at all levels of training - a true all-round talent! This jumping curb bit enables targeted and effective aids to be given, which act on the tongue, poll and lower jaw. The leverage effect on the poll can be varied as required depending on how it is buckled. This gives you the opportunity to respond individually to your horse and has a slightly lower leverage effect compared to a Pelham. The rider can decide individually whether to ride with one or two pairs of reins. The jumping curb bit is used together with a chin chain. If this allows an angle of up to 45° between the lower rein and the mouth gap, it limits the pressure on the poll in a sensible way.
